The sauna will also support the immune system – the increased temperature will stimulate the production of white blood cells, and alternating the sauna heat with cold shower water will toughen the body. The sauna will also have a positive effect on weight loss, improve cardiovascular performance, relieve rheumatic conditions, relax, and improve skin appearance.
However, it’s important to note that not everyone will be able to use the sauna. Contraindications for sauna use include heart attacks, acute inflammatory diseases, high blood pressure, and pregnancy.
How to use a dry sauna?
This is a common question among our guests. Before entering the sauna, it’s essential to wash your body thoroughly and remove any makeup. It’s a good idea to cover your hair with a towel to prevent it from drying out. Jewelry, glasses, and other items that can heat up and cause burns should be left outside.
You can enter the sauna wrapped in a towel or naked – it is recommended to avoid underwear or swimwear. Shoes will be left outside, and it’s best to start the session on the lowest benches, gradually moving higher. After 10-15 minutes, you should cool off under the shower, rest, and – if your body allows – repeat the session.
The most important thing is to listen to your body. If discomfort arises at any point, it’s best to take a break or choose another form of relaxation – such as the jacuzzi, salt grotto, or a massage.
